GRIT Studios are shutting down a whole mile of Stockport for the day, in the best way. Move A Mile runs from 11am to 4pm on Sunday 27th September, tracing a trail from GRIT Studios on Canal Street through Lower Hillgate, Little Underbank and Great Underbank to their second site, with the whole route turning into a festival along the way.

Expect skating, street art, breakdancing, live music and hands-on workshops along the trail, plus the chance to actually meet the artists behind. It's run in collaboration with The Coping and open to all-ages so everyone can get involved.

It's free to attend, though GRIT are asking people to register so they can plan numbers and report back to funders, which is a fair ask for a day this ambitious.
