Underbank Weekender returns to Stockport: 100+ Bands, 10+ Venues, One Big Weekend.
South City Studios' multi-venue music festival is back for round two, and it's bigger than ever. From Friday 10th to Sunday 12th July, the Underbank Weekender takes over more than 10 venues across Stockport with over 100 independent bands and musicians on the bill.
Expect an eclectic genre mash-up across the weekend including indie, funk, jazz, rock, metal, acoustic and Caribbean sounds, with stages running from early afternoon through to late evening. There's a mix of free and paid entry across the venues so you can build your own weekend as you go.
Phoebe Green headlines the Main Stage at Holy Diver on Sunday 12th, marking her return with new album in tow. Support comes from Marie Franc, Runaway Club, Sallie and a long list of others still to be confirmed.
Sunday also sees Pan On The Piazza take over St Peter's Square for a day of Stockport steel, alongside Phoebe Green's own album launch party. And when the music stops, On Dah Rocks hosts the official afterparty, closing out the weekend in style.
Whether you're chasing one headline set or making a weekend of it, this promises to be an exciting showcase of local music at its loudest.
