Halloween is basically the Stockport Alternative Market's Christmas, so this is the one to put in the diary.
The Halloween market takes over the Masonic Guildhall on the A6, opposite Stockport College, with 70+ independent stallholders. That's the biggest line-up yet, and they'll be selling art, jewellery, clothing, oddities, candles and all sorts of dark and lovely things you didn't know you needed. If your aesthetic runs more black velvet than pumpkin spice, this is your market.
It's also a strong shout for early Christmas shopping, especially for the person in your life who's impossible to buy for (we all have one...).
It runs until 8pm so there's no rush on a Sunday afternoon. Parking is free on site, so no faffing about with town centre car parks either.
