Merseyway's turning festive for the Mid-Autumn Festival this weekend. The Asian Moon Festival runs Saturday 12th September from 9am to 5pm and Sunday 13th September from 10am to 4pm at Merseyway Shopping Centre.

Expect a line-up of traders serving up authentic Asian street food, plus the centrepiece everyone's going to be queuing for: a 1.5-metre moon and rabbit display built for photos. It's free to attend, and with the food, the decorations and the general festive buzz, it's a solid excuse to make a day of it in town.
