    What's happening in November

For someone for doesn’t put their tree up until December, it feels early, but on Sunday 15th, Stockport’s Spectacular Sunday takes over the town centre from midday to 5pm with live entertainment, the world’s smallest nightclub and the Christmas lights switch-on.

But first it’s bonfire week and with firework displays taking place all over the region we’ve rounded up everything we could find happening in SK so you can find an event near you.

Book lovers, Prologue’s new stage at Weir Mill is already busy, with An Evening with Joey Batey on Tuesday 3rd and Tahmina Begum on Thursday 19th, while Simply Books welcomes food writer Ella Risbridger to Bramhall on Tuesday 10th.

On Sunday 8th, the town gathers for Remembrance, with the procession from the Armoury arriving at the War Memorial Art Gallery for the two-minute silence at 11am.

Get a head start on Christmas shopping on Saturday 14th, when the Makers Market fills the Market Place and Bramhall Village Square hosts its early festive market. A week later on Saturday 21st, the Underground Revue brings burlesque and cabaret to the basement of the Garrick Theatre.

And to round off the month, Foodie Friday is back across the Market Place and Great Underbank on Friday 27th from 6pm.
