A long-standing favourite tucked into the Underbank, you can expect Italian-style pizzas with generous toppings, from classic margaritas to the ‘Stockport Hot’. The restaurant itself is set in the historic Winters building, and a family-friendly option that works just as well midweek as it does on a Friday night.

Gatto Pizza @ The Underbank

Pizza connoisseurs need to head to Gatto Pizza.
It’s a small yet slick operation based in Underbank, serving up delicious sourdough pizzas on Friday through to Sunday. Gatto is starting to build up quite the reputation, with pizza lovers travelling far and wide to try their 72-hour fermented dough bases, a choice of traditional style toppings and changing special menu (which recently included SPAM and Miso and was, quite frankly, out of this world).

A proper local favourite and great in the summer. The Pizza Maker serves up straightforward, satisfying pizzas in one of Stockport’s most loved pubs in a fantastic beer garden. No frills, steaming hot and boxed fresh. Available Thurs-Sat 5.30pm - 9pm.
