Stockport Beer & Cider Festival

  • 169-171 Wellington Road South Stockport, England, SK1 3UA United Kingdom (map)

One of Stockport's most beloved annual events is back for its 38th year, the Stockport Beer & Cider Festival returns to the Masonic Guildhall for three days of real ales, proper ciders and live music.

Expect over 200 different cask ales, membrane keg beers and ciders to work through, plus an international bottle and can bar stocked with British and continental options. The cider and perry bar is a highlight in its own right and has long been one of the first CAMRA festivals to take cider seriously, and it shows.

The festival spreads across two floors of The Guildhall, with plenty of indoor seating and a covered outdoor area for when the June weather behaves itself. There are also stalls selling books, merchandise, and games so it's more of a day out than a straight-up booze crawl…though nobody's stopping you!
